What the sun touched did not disappear.
It stayed—held in the curve, in the quiet tension of the surface.
A memory of warmth, of skin, of something once alive in light.
Not seen, but felt—still refusing to fade.
My work is inspired by the quiet forces that shape the natural world—flowing water carving canyons, wind moving sand, and time slowly transforming stone. I'm drawn to the textures and patterns these processes leave behind.
In the studio, I approach painting with a reductionist mindset, focusing on clean lines and restraint while allowing movement and depth to emerge through layered surfaces. Each piece is hand-painted using acrylics, iron pigments, patinas, stippling, and airbrush shading. These materials help me build subtle textures and shifting tones that suggest fluid motion and the constant change found in nature.
